Dance Elective
Dance Elective is a class that will dig deeper into your student’s dance training by developing technique, exploring choreography, expanding their dance vocabulary conditioning and performance skills.

4th and 5th Grade Dance Elective
Students will have the opportunity to refine and perform choreography to be showcased in local performances and school productions. Students are required to dress for dance on elective days. Students in both dance and music elective classes will collaborate with each other to rehearse and perform. Combined rehearsals and some required after school rehearsals with 4th and 5th grades music. There will be a $26 fee for show materials.
6th Grade Dance Elective
This is a full year course. Students will refine and perform choreography to be showcased in local performances and school productions. After school practices and performances will be required for this class. Along with dance technique and performance, dancers will also learn about the elements of dance, dance choreography, improvisation, anatomy, audition techniques and more. Students will have a required dance dress code that MUST be followed. $26 studio fee required.
7th Grade Dance Elective
This is a full year course. Students will refine and perform choreography to be showcased in local performances and school productions. After school practices and performances will be required for this class. Along with dance technique and performance, dancers will also learn about the elements of dance, dance choreography, improvisation, dance history, teaching methods and more. Students will have a required dance dress code that MUST be followed. $26 studio fee required.
8th Grade Dance Elective
This is a full year course. Students will refine and perform choreography to be showcased in local performances and school productions. After school practices and performances will be required for this class. Along with dance technique and performance, dancers will also learn about the elements of dance, dance choreography, improvisation, dance history and teaching methods, high school, college, and professional dance opportunities and more. Students will have a required dance dress code that MUST be followed. $26 studio fee required.
