Gifted Program Overview

Academie Da Vinci provides gifted programming and enrichment to identified students based on Pinellas County School District criteria of eligibility, by a gifted endorsed teacher.

Our pull-out model of instruction is designed to meet the unique academic and intellectual needs of all gifted students. During their time in the gifted classroom, students will be exposed to a supportive, stimulating, and enriching environment. This environment fosters a culture of inquiry, critical thinking and creative problem-solving across various disciplines. This is achieved through a combination of hands-on activities, creative expression, collaborative activities, project-based and inquiry-based learning.

Students at the middle school level will focus on social emotional growth supporting students to feel valued, respected, and empowered to take risks, collaborate with peers, while becoming independent thinkers and problem solvers. Students will begin harnessing and strengthening their leadership qualities and skills by engaging in leadership activities with their peers, younger students and within their community.

Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of innovators, problem solvers, and lifelong learners who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to society and thrive in an ever-changing world.
