The best way to know if Academie Da Vinci is right for your child is to come see it. We welcome prospective families for in-person tours throughout the school year and offer a few different ways to experience the school.

What to expect on a tour

A typical tour lasts 30-45 minutes and includes a walk through our K-8 classrooms, our dedicated spaces for visual arts, music, dance, and technology, and time with our principal or a member of our admissions team to answer your questions. Tours are kept small — usually just one or two families at a time — so you get real attention.

How to schedule

The fastest way to book a tour is to call or email our front office:

When you reach out, please share: your child’s grade level for the upcoming year, two or three dates that could work for you, and any specific topics you’d like to cover on the tour (curriculum, schedule, special programs, lottery process, etc.). We’ll confirm a time within one business day.

Tour timing during the year

Tours run year-round, but the spring (March–May) and summer (July–August) windows are the most active. If you’re considering applying for the next school year, plan to tour before the application window closes — see our lottery information page for current deadlines.

Can’t visit in person yet?

If you can’t make an in-person tour right now, we can usually arrange a virtual walkthrough or a phone call with our principal. Just mention that in your email or call. You can also browse our About Us page, our programs, and our staff bios to get a sense of the school in the meantime.

Ready to apply?

If you already know Academie Da Vinci is right for your family, you can also start the enrollment process directly. Academie Da Vinci is a Florida public charter school — there is no tuition, and admission is by lottery.

Absence Notification

Please note, if your child has been absent from school for 3 or more consecutive days:

  • Three or more consecutive absences require a doctor’s note or other documentation.
  • This form & accompanying documentation below must be received within 2 days of the student’s return to school to help school officials determine the excuse/unexcused status of the absence(s).
  • Please keep a copy of all forms/documentation in the event it may be requested if a student has accumulated 3 or more absences in a semester course or 10 or more absences in an annual course.

In an effort to standardize attendance procedures to review school absences, no other letters/forms will be accepted.
